ISPG Awards Nominations

CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2013 Ming Tsuang Lifetime Achievement Award and the 2013 Theodore Reich Young Investigator Award.  The deadline for nominations is Friday, June 7, 2013.  Nominators for the awards must be current members of ISPG.  Nominees for the awards are not required to be members of ISPG.  Award winners will be notified in July.   Participation at the XXIst World Congress of Psychiatric Genetics in Boston, Massachusetts, October 17-21, 2013 is required.  The awards will be presented on Sunday, October 20. The recipients of the Ming Tsuang Lifetime Achievement Award and the Theodore Reich Young Investigator Award will give a brief plenary presentation following the awards presentation.

Ming Tsuang Lifetime Achievement Award
The Ming Tsuang Lifetime Achievement Award is given to a scientist who has made a significant contribution to the advancement of the field of psychiatric genetics.  The nominator should complete the form, including a description of the scientific work and achievements justifying why the proposed scientist is eligible for the award.  Please attach a current CV of the nominee that includes a full list of publications.  To submit a nomination, click on the following link to complete the 2013 Ming Tsuang Lifetime Achievement Award Nomination Form.

Theodore Reich Young Investigator Award
The Theodore Reich Young Investigator Award is given for published work on psychiatric genetics that is of exceptional merit.  Candidates must be 40 years or younger in 2013 for consideration and need not be members of the Society.  The award is available annually, but will not be made in the absence of any work of sufficient merit.  The nominator should complete the form, including a description of the scientific work and achievements justifying why the proposed scientist is eligible for the award.  Please attach a current CV of the nominee and up to four published or in-press manuscripts.  To submit a nomination, click on the following link to complete the 2013 Theodore Reich Young Investigator Award Nomination Form.
